Some may say diets and exercises are hard to keep up and will cost money . This isn’t entirely true …

You see diets can actually save you the money you waste on snack food ( think of the countless chocolate bars, crisps, or other food you find yourself casually eating for no reason ) .

Not only that but then think of the money you have to pay for medical complications caused by junk food.OK this was far -fetched and a little scary  maybe but why pay for junk food which does not fill you . Why not pay for  nutritious food which is your natural source of sugars , fibres ,etc…

I hope this has encouraged you a little to think about it from this short-term perspective and hopefully has persuaded some of the diet skeptics out there . Indeed having cash was really important for me as a student and I need to emphasize: this isn’t about starving yourself !!!

On the opposite , you have  to give your body what it needs, no chemicals but just natural food.
In my next article I will show you how I see food and how this has helped me distinguish between what is it you want(fads) and what  your body needs (nutrition). This is very important step before I even started with exercises.

Also, from this point onwards I will publish two types of articles : for exercises and for diets .As I lost so much weight for the last year I gradually realized you need to be disciplined with both.Persistence is the key but knowing why you do all these diets helps !

….that awesome pair of jeans does NOT fit you no more; you feel sleepy after a meal ; or you simply can’t climb the stairs without breaking some sweat . These are signs your figure is not as slender as you may think. No, I mean it !!! It took me a while to realize that. My body was trying to tell me as it struggled but I ignored it as I opened another pack of crisps. My friends tried to give me a hint but I took it as a joke and shrugged it off .

YOU  NEED  TO  REALIZE THIS BEHAVIOUR HAS  ITS  LIMITS, just like with everything else .
Even more so if you ,like me , are one of the those prone to put on weight easily ( article on this coming up) .

Simply thinking about solving this can be off-putting for many . Remember all those self-help books we buy after our New Year’s resolution,or all those classes we sign up for? The intention is good but what’s missing is a good motivator to stay with our programmes . There isn’t short-term incentive.

To learn what incentivized me ,and what will definitely will incentivize you , read my next article on beginners’ incentives.

Welcome to my blog , I intend to introduce you to series of articles about how I got involved in running , gradually changed my lifestyle and lazy ways and through simple diets and exercise I managed to cut significant weight.

To warn the reader , this isn’t a quick fix that applies to all and by all means everybody’s  physique is different (Something I will touch upon later on). Moreover before starting any diet or exercise you need to consult with a medical practitioner and dietitian to get the all clear and the most suitable plan for you .

In any case , I don’t pretend to know everything either  but I hope there maybe something  useful in my approach that my readers can take as a useful tip . All diets and exercise plans have one vital thing in common – PERSISTENCE . You need discipline and dedication .
It is simple – hate something , change something !

Now let’s get started !!!kick it
